 INTRODUCTION

Human activities, from obtaining a raw material to the disposal of waste

generated after obtaining a technological product, can have dire
consequences for the conservation of the environment.
Some examples are desertification, the environmental impact of
technological works, the pollution produced in the obtaining and
treatment of many raw materials or energy sources and the waste
generated in many industrial activities.

 ¿WHY TECHNOLOGY HAS IMPACTED GLOBAL WARMING
POSITIVELY OR NEGATIVELY?

Technology can destroy or preserve the environment. Due to pollution,

the use of technology to recycle water, the recovery of soils destroyed
by fires, crops without rapidly degrading soil fertility, etc. In addition, the
same technology is damaging the environment, cell phone batteries
contain highly toxic materials that are not recycled and it takes centuries
to eliminate the environment. Technology is destroying the planet, but
on the other hand it helps in its survival, it all depends on the use that is
given to it and the awareness of the users of technology. Often there is
no consideration or planning for the impact, both positive and negative,
of the technology we routinely use. These impacts exist from the
manufacture, use and disposal of these products within our environment
and, therefore, require monitoring at each stage of the technological life
cycle. Unregulated manufacturing, inefficient use and disposal of
technology products in our environment results in the generation and
release of toxic compounds. Most organizations and industries begin
their efforts to decrease technology waste and seek to minimize their
footprint on the environment.

 ¿HOW WE CAN USE TECHNOLOGY TO HELP THE
ENVIRONMENT IN ORDER TO AMELIORATE THE CURRENT
ENVIRONMENTAL CRISIS?

I recommend that the United Nations work more on projects that are
not carried out, saving the environment with technology helps us build
better ecosystems or remedy the damage caused to the environment
through the use of organic and inorganic techniques for a cleaner
planet.

Although technology and the environment are believed to be at

opposite ends of the spectrum, humans are looking for ways to save
the environment with technology. So whether it's generating renewable
green energy or using sensors to monitor endangered species,
technologies like AI and IoT are helping to create a sustainable future
for us. Technology and environment are two areas that are more
related to what we can imagine. Nature inspires breakthroughs and
innovation.

We have to find a way in which technology is part of the solution and

not of the problem and, if the natural environment has given us the
resources, we currently have to improve our knowledge and quality of
life, what less than to use them to take care of her in return, In the past,
the industrial revolution did not prioritize the health of people and the
environment. The costs and benefits of the transformations that
technology has undergone were not evenly distributed among
communities and countries. Currently, the so-called "Fourth Industrial
Revolution" offers open communication and clearer information. They
are discovering new ways to use technology to reduce pollution
problems and manage resource consumption, in a way that is good for
the economy, good for communities, and good for the planet.

One of the most important ways to help save the environment is to generate and
sustainably use available energy resources. Due to the non-renewability of fossil fuels like
coal, oil, and natural gas, researchers are coming up with new ways to generate power
with technology. However, the generation of energy with technology involves three main
aspects: storage, energy networks and electricity generation.
"Modern technology owes an apology to ecology", environmental scientists have begun to
focus on remedying the ecological balance caused by humans. An integral part of the
ecosystem, the technology is now widely used to save wildlife.

Being an important part of ecology, man has devised ways to live a safe and sustainable
lifestyle to help the environment. There are many other ways to help preserve the
environment with technology. Most of these applications are widely used and have
brought about major changes. However, this effect can be extended if the technology is
designed to reach many people to educate and train them to implement it in the best
possible way.

Some examples of technologically efficient energy solutions are fuel cells, lithium-air
batteries, hydrogen energy storage, and thermal energy collectors. Sustainable electricity
generation includes the generation of electricity from renewable resources such as the sun,
wind and tides. Solar energy has gained tremendous momentum in recent years. Following
his lead, people are finding innovative ways to use wind and tidal energy for cleaner
energy sources.
Technology has helped us simplify our lives. It has made the world a smaller place, it has
helped to fight the deadliest diseases and it has solved the most difficult problems for us.
The next problem before us is that of the ecological changes that we face. Given the
potential that technology has, environmental scientists are now saving the environment
with technology.
