a) Toner supply control overview
Toner sensor which detects amount of toner is placed in DV.
Machine judge the toner empty only by the toner sensor in
DV not by toner gage.
Toner gage is the indication which is calculated by pixel count
and rotation count of toner motor. And pixel count and
rotation count of toner motor doesn’t always change linearly
to toner consumption. So it can defer depending on usage
and can be used just as a reference.

Indicator improvement of toner quantity by input the rotation of the motor for the
adding toner (Same technology as Venus)

b) Toner gage control
Before 4000 pages in remaining print page, toner motor rotation count is used to indicate toner gage. (after
4000 pages, the linear relation between toner supply speed and toner motor rotation can be broken.)
After 4000 pages, pixel count is used to indicate toner gage.
At 1000 pages in remaining print page, “toner low “ message appears. And toner gage value changes to 5%.
