T h e I n t e r n a t i o n a l P i a n i s t A s s o c i a t i o n ( I PA ) i s a n o n - p r o f i t , p r o f e s s i o n a l a r t i n s t i t u t i o n r e g i s t e r e d i n

t h e U n i t e d S t a t e s . T h e I PA o r g a n i z e s a n d a d m i n i s t e r s a d v a n c e d p i a n o a c t i v i t i e s a n d e x t e n s i v e

s c i e n t i f i c r e s e a r c h a r o u n d t h e w o r l d . Pe r f o r m a n c e a c t i v i t i e s s u p p o r t e d b y I PA i n c l u d e a v a r i e t y o f

competitions as well as concer ts given by international pianists. New creative musical activity is

encouraged by exhibiting the per formance works of outstanding international pianists and

compiling piano per formances. The scientific research focuses on innovative teaching techniques

t o e n r i c h p i a n o p e d a g o g y. A f t e r t h e r e s e a r c h i s c o m p l e t e , t h e I PA s u m m a r i z e s , e x c h a n g e s , a n d

p r o m o t e s p i a n o t e a c h i n g r e s e a r c h r e s u l t s . I n a d d i t i o n , t h e I PA o f f e r s t e a c h i n g s e m i n a r s a n d

t r a i n i n g s e s s i o n s t o p o p u l a r i z e t h e a c h i e v e m e n t s o f p i a n o p e d a g o g y. F i n a l l y, I PA d i s t r i b u t e s

books, audio -visual products, and piano education materials to pianists. Through each of these

e n d e a v o r s , I PA s e e k s t o s t r e n g t h e n t h e c o n n e c t i o n w i t h i n t e r n a t i o n a l p i a n i s t s a n d m e m b e r s o f

music education academic institutions, promoting the exchange and cooperation of piano

performance and piano education throughout the world.

IPA 国际钢琴家协会 理事权益

一．理事参与制定协会发展方向，管理制度，提出意见建议，对本会工作

情况、财务情况、重大事项有知情权、建议权和监督权；

二．协会有义务优先推广理事成员的钢琴演奏作品及钢琴教学成果；

三．理事成员优先担任协会组织的国际钢琴赛事、文化交流等活动的评审

及专家、并获得一定的劳务报酬；

四．协会有义务优先出版、编辑理事成员的钢琴演奏及钢琴教育类资料、

书籍及音像制品。
