Individual Reflective essay

THANKS YAP YAN YEE

Good Afternoon Ms. Munirah, Good afternoon Everyone, My Name is Yazeed Jamal and I will talk about
the skills that I have learnt throughout the event and the skill that is relevant for my future career.

Okay so Through out this event I have learnet IMPORTANCE OF

Skills Learnt
Importance of Responsibility
Back at my school there wasn’t such a thing where students organize events and such, since
these things were held by Teachers etc. And this was the first time I have participated in an event
held by students where we all work together to bring up a pretty good outcomes, and luckily my
teammates were all dedicated to the project, and it was such a good teamwork and it taught me
how important it is to work with a whole team where we all can share ideas etc. And let’s not
forget to mention our Group leader Woo Zheng Hong who was supportive and a motivating
leader who made sure to lead everyone to do their task and work with ease, but unfortunately, I
wasn’t able to do a lot in the event because of time difference and other reasons, yet Woo Zheng
Hong understood my case and even gave tips on what to do in the remaining work. and regarding
this matter, I sincerely apologize for my friends in group 20 for not being able to helpin that
much in the event and looking forward to finishing the rest of the work together with them!

Skills Relevant for Future Career
Now for the skill that is Relevant for my future career:

Teamwork Skills
Everyone in this event has been working hard to make sure that the event goes smoothly. Thanks
to the leadership and group contributors, we have been able to divide our tasks and work
efficiently so that we can finish jobs faster.
Teamwork has always been important in all situations since more people mean more helpful
hands, therefore I realized that teamwork is very important. When doing a project, event, or any
work that includes a multiple group of members.

That’s it for my part, Passing to Ye Jinjiang

Thanks ZHANG QUNHAO

Once Again Good afternoon Everyone, I Am Yazeed and I will talk about the
outcomes that were achieved throughout the event, And I Will Also Include some
recommendations that would’ve made the event even better that it was.
Outcomes and Recommendations
So we have 5 outcomes first outcome which is
State 5 Outcomes:
1- Self-expression, Graphic design allows you to express your creativity on a regular
basis.
2- You can create designs, sketches, and so on. for yourself, friends, and family without
having to rely on other sources.
3- You will never get bored.
4- Over-all enjoyment.
5- Event accomplishment.

No 1 Script: Being a designer helps you to express your creativity, soo there must be a time
when you got an idea about a lot of different ideas and concepts that you’d like to do
experiments with, Graphic design is where you can express all of these ideas and put them into
action.

No 2 Script: Chances are good that, at some point, someone in your circle of friends and
family or anyone close to you will need a logo for like a t-shirt design, or maybe a design to a
website, or any other design venture that you could be able to help out with. And these skills will
make you a built-in bonus for those around you.

No 3 Script: So when it comes to graphic design, there are always new technologies to learn,
and a lot of different trends to try especially with the popular social media sites like Tiktok,
Instagram, twitter and so on. and this will give you a curious mind and a teachable spirit which
will take you a long way in this profession.

No 4 Script: Learning and exploring new things always gives a spark and a feeling of
curiosity to whatever you are exploring, and a big thanks to APU for giving us the chance to
learn and try new things that will improve our experience in our future careers. And with our
workshop and the teamwork of our group, we were able to achieve the enjoyment of our
participants who honored us with their presence in the event. (And this is the Pie-Chart that
shows the voting of our participants about improving their skills.)

No 5 Script: With our workshop we were able to catch our participants interests which shows
an outcome of our work in delivering a successful event, which resulted with satisfaction for
both organizers and participants. And not to forget the joyous of the group members after
finishing the event successfully. (And these two Pie-Charts shows the voting of our participants
regarding the event in our feedback form.

Okay now for the recommendation part. So the first recommendation which is
State 3 recommendations with examples:
1- Prizes at the end of the event. For example making a competition
in the event and each competition holds a valuable prize.

2- Multiple factors in event. For example having more than one

factor or competition in the event to make it more stimulating

3- Even more friendly approach. There are a lot of people who feel shy to
talk around a big number of people or people who are scared to be interrupted,
For example talking in a meeting full of people may make participants hesitate to
ask and will make them lose the opportunity to ask during a meeting, event
lecture etc. So the only way is to make them comfortable by being friendly with
them and give them multiple opportunities to ask questions and participate.

No 1 Script: Since this was an online event, hosting an event with prizes was a bit
troublesome since not all of the team members can share money to buy a prize, and it would be
unfair for like 1 or 2 members to pay for the prize, and as you all know valuable prizes are what
attracts participants and give them motivation to complete the whole event. So if the event was
Physical getting a prize or two would’ve been an easier task
No 2 Script: When our Group 20 in CC2 decided to make an event, it was supposed to be a 2-
factor event about graphic design, which is holding a Photoshop and an Illustrator workshop, but
things happened and unfortunately the lecturer responsible of Illustrator workshop couldn’t make
it for personal reasons.

That’s it for my Part passing to the next presenter.
