Indicative timelines for the planning process

Thank you for your enquiry into building a new A1 Home in Wellington.

The planning process to complete plans ready for council consent is currently taking approximately
16 Weeks. This is due the building boom we are all experiencing. In some cases where a Resource
consent is required it could take 6 months.

As a guide, the timelines as follows

- Survey Topographical survey 2 weeks (Survey Insight)

- Scheme plans 3 weeks
- Any scheme plan revisions 2-3 weeks

At this point the plans are ready to hand over to our resource consent planner (Urban Edge Planning
Ltd) to complete the resource consent application (If required). The Resource consent will take
approximately 6 weeks from here assuming there are no complications.

If a resource consent is not required you can go straight to the full working phase.

- Scheme plans to Prelim drawings 3 weeks

- Frame and truss PS1 statement 2 weeks
- Engineers foundation design 2-3 weeks
- Finalize full plans ready for council consenting 3 weeks
- The council Building consent process is 20 working day minimum. If we receive a request for
further information (RFI) You can add approximately 2 weeks to the council process time.

While it is our intention to push your plans through the process as quickly as possible, there may be
unforeseen delays incurred.

We look forward to getting the planning process started for you in the near future.

Regards
