-Project Schedule
We both know that planning and constructing any type of project can take a bit of time. From
experiences that we have both noticed, such as the construction of different buildings and
other projects around our towns and surrounding towns, we have seen that the construction
part of any project usually takes a fair amount of time. Yet, what we have both realized is that
most of the time these projects take many days and even weeks off where the construction
company does do any type of building. So, with this in mind, we want to make sure that every
part of our planning and construction process is on schedule and being done.

We’ve taken the challenge of trying to have our park completed and ready to go in a short time
span of 7 months. Yes, this might seem like a short duration to complete a park with all its
aspects, yet, we believe that with the proper scheduling and precise planning, we can achieve
our goal.

Starting right at the beginning of the month we plan to start the year off productive and begin
our journey. We are going to start off by meeting with a designer to start helping us design our
park and create a blueprint. We will go to the designer with a design plan already constructed
since this is our vision and not the designers. We plan to have both of these steps done in about
two weeks, then take a week to go over the design between the both of us, make any
adjustments we like, and eventually finalize and sign off on the design, which will take around
another 2 weeks, ending the month of January. Once we get our design process out the way,
starting the month of February we want to spend it getting the proper permits in order to start
construction on our land. These building permits usually take a couple of weeks to get so we
have made sure this month will be dedicated to getting these permits to ensure our
construction process goes smoothly, without interruptions. Once the month of March comes,
we wanted to focus on researching and contacting different construction companies. We need
to make sure that we choose a respected construction company that can provide us with
successful previous work examples. We want to make a good decision, so we have set the
whole month aside in order to do so. Once April comes, we are in full construction mode. We
need to make sure that construction is going to plan and that it goes as smooth as possible. This
can take a while, so we have set three months aside just for construction. After construction is
done, we plan to promote our park and have a grand opening for most of July.
Here you can see our Gannt chart with the tasks we have set and the days we want to achieve
them in.
