1.0 PURPOSE
The purpose of the document is to review requests, tenders and contracts to ensure that
customer requirements are fully defined and documented and deviations/ambiguities, if any are
resolved

2.0 SCOPE
Contract Review procedure applies to all enquiries or contracts right from the enquiry stage till
mutual agreement is reached.

3.0 RESPONSIBILITY
Customer service cell I/C/Dy. Quality Manager

4.0 PROCEDURE
a) Review of Test Request :

Laboratory reviews the following aspect before accepting the order for Test:-
 Test specification method.
 If sample quantity for testing is not adequate, Customer is informed the required
quantity of the sample for test as per standard test method. Condition of sample
container should also be checked during sample receipt.
 Customer service cell checks sample details information in the particular Format
available with KCL/LAB/DGP.
 Manpower as well as instrument availability is checked for the test mentioned in test
request and if not available for the particular test, Customer is informed for the delay in
testing. If Customer agrees for the period of delay, samples are accepted by putting
signature on the requisition letter from the customer cell department.
 Delivery of Test report is reviewed for urgent / ordinary samples and dates are informed
Customer accordingly.
 Customer Service Cell personnel issues the invoice to Customer for urgent and normal
samples.

b) Amendment to contract: If customer ask for any addition or deletion of test after
receiving the test assignment or in any situation if require to amend the contract same
procedure is followed as described in (a)
