แบบฝึกทักษะ เรื่องการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ เป็นสื่อประกอบการเรียน

การสอน รายวิชา อ 22201 ภาษาอังกฤษเพิ่มเติม สาหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษา ปีที่ 2 เพื่อให้
นักเรียนสามารถศึกษาค้นคว้าด้วยตนเอง สอดคล้องกับพระราชบัญญัติการศึกษาแห่งชาติ
พุทธศักราช 2542 และหลักสูตรแกนกลางการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน พุทธศักราช 2551 ที่เน้นนักเรียน
เป็นสาคัญ จัดกระบวนการเรียนรู้ให้นักเรียนมีทักษะในการคิด การจัดการ ฝึกปฏิบัติ เกิดการเรียนรู้
อย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งนี้ผู้เรียนต้องตั้งใจศึกษาและมีความซื่อสัตย์ต่อตนเอง แบบฝึกทักษะนี้จึงจะบรรลุ
ตามจุดประสงค์การเรียนรู้
Reading for Topic เล่มนี้เป็นแบบฝึก ทักษะ BOOK I ของแบบฝึกทักษะ ซึ่งมี
ทั้งหมด 4 เล่ม คือ Reading for Topic, Reading for Main Idea, Reading for Details และ
Reading Comprehension ที่มีเนื้อหา ลาดับขั้นตอนการเรียนรู้ต่อเนื่องกัน แบบฝึกทักษะแต่ละเล่ม
จะมีเนื้อหาจากง่ายไปหายาก เมื่อศึกษา ครบแล้ว สามารถ นาองค์ความรู้ที่ได้ไปใช้ในการอ่าน
เนื้อเรื่อง หรือบทอ่านที่มีเนื้อหายาวขึ้น ในแบบฝึกทักษะ BOOK IV
จุดเด่นของแบบฝึกทักษะ BOOK I จะเน้นเนื้อหาด้านการอ่านเพื่อ ฝึกหาหัวข้อเรื่อง
เป็นขั้นตอน จากง่ายไปหายาก แยกออกเป็นเรื่องย่อยๆ เพื่อให้ง่ายต่อการเรียนรู้ และมีแบบฝึกเพื่อ
วัดความเข้าใจทุกหัวข้อพร้อมแบบเฉลยท้ายเล่ม โดยเลือกสรรคาศัพท์และไวยากรณ์ ที่เหมาะสมกับ
ระดับความสามารถทางภาษาของผู้เรียน

BOOK I

ให้นักเรียนศึกษาแบบฝึกทักษะตามลาดับไปทีละขั้นตอน ดังนี้
1. ศึกษารายละเอียดของแบบฝึกและปฏิบัติตามขั้นตอน
2. ปฏิบัติตามขั้นตอนในการใช้แบบฝึกทักษะ ดังนี้
2.1 ศึกษาผลการเรียนรู้ สาระการเรียนรู้ และจุดประสงค์การเรียนรู้
2.2 ทาแบบทดสอบก่อนเรียน (Pretest)
(ครูเป็นผู้ตรวจคาตอบ และแจ้งคะแนนให้นักเรียนทราบ)
2.3 อ่านและทาความเข้าใจเนื้อหาทุกตอน ก่อนทาแบบฝึกทักษะ
2.4 ทาแบบฝึกหัด (Exercise) ลงในกระดาษคาตอบ และตรวจคาตอบจาก
แบบเฉลยในภาคผนวกท้ายเล่ม ถ้าคาตอบแต่ละเรื่องถูกต้องไม่ถึง
ร้อยละ 70 ให้ย้อนกลับไปศึกษาเรื่องนั้นๆ ใหม่ให้เข้าใจ แล้วทา
แบบฝึกหัดซ้าอีกครั้งหรือจนกว่าจะผ่าน ก่อนศึกษาเรื่องต่อไป
2.5 ร่วมสรุป อภิปรายเนื้อหา และกิจกรรมที่ทาในแบบฝึกทักษะร่วมกับเพื่อน
และครู
2.6 ทาแบบทดสอบหลังเรียน (Posttest)

Topic Noun

Topic Noun คือลักษณะในการนาเสนอหัวเรื่อง ต้องเป็นคานามเท่านั้น วิธีหา

Topic Noun ง่ายๆ ที่หลายคนนึกไม่ถึงและใช้เวลาหาในช่วงระยะเวลาอันสั้น แม้ว่าเนื้อ
เรื่องนั้นจะมีความยาวเพียงใดก็ตาม นั่นคือ ให้สังเกตว่าคานามใดในเนื้อเรื่องที่มีการพูด
ถึงบ่อยครั้งที่สุด หรือคานามที่มีความถี่สูงสุดในเนื้อเรื่อง ในการนับความถี่ของคานาม
นั้น นอกจากเราจะนับคาที่ใช้ซ้า ๆ กันแล้ว เรายังต้องนับตัว reference (คาที่ใช้อ้างถึง)
ที่หมายถึงคานามนั้นรวมเข้าไปด้วย
ในที่นี้จะกล่าวถึง Topic Noun ใน 2 ลักษณะคือ

1.Topic of List

คือ หัวเรื่องของรายการต่างๆ สามารถหาได้โดยพิจารณาจากรายการนั้นๆ ว่า

กล่าวโดยรวมถึงเรื่องอะไร หัวเรื่องจะกว้างและครอบคลุมเรื่องย่อยๆ ทั้งหมด

2.Topic of Paragraph

คือ หัวเรื่องของข้อความ การอ่านข้อความแต่ละย่อหน้า ผู้อ่านจาเป็นต้องเข้าใจ

ถึงหัวข้อเรื่องของข้อความหรือทราบว่าข้อความนั้นเกี่ยวกับเรื่องอะไร หัวข้อเรื่องควรมี
ความหมายครอบคลุมเรื่องราวทั้งหมดของข้อความและไม่ควรจะกว้างหรือแคบ
จนเกินไป

Topic of List คือ หัวเรื่องของรายการ

หรือก็คือ Topic Noun นั่นเองเรา สามารถหา
ได้โดยพิจารณาจากรายการนั้นๆ ว่ากล่าวโดยรวมถึงเรื่องอะไร หัวเรื่องจะกว้างและ
ครอบคลุมเรื่องย่อยๆ ทั้งหมด เช่น

หรือสามารถแสดงให้เห็นภาพความสัมพันธ์ เชื่อมโยงได้ดังนี้

จากตัวอย่าง เมื่อพิจารณาจากรายการทั้งหมดจะพบว่า aerobic dancing

(การเต้นออกกาลังกายประกอบเพลง), practicing yoga (การฝึกโยคะ), jogging
(การวิ่งเหยาะๆ), swimming (การว่ายน้า), dancing (การเต้นรา), jumping rope
(การกระโดดเชือก) ต่างก็เป็นกีฬาชนิดต่างๆ เพื่อการออกกาลังกาย ดังนั้นหัวข้อเรื่อง
(topic) ของรายการเหล่านี้ก็คือ exercises นั่นเอง

เพื่อให้นักเรียนมีความรู้ความเข้าใจหัวเรื่องของรายการ (Topic of List) มากยิ่งขึ้น

ต่อไปนี้เป็นการกาหนดกลุ่มคาศัพท์มาให้ ให้นักเรียนหาหัวเรื่องจากรายการที่กาหนด
