Types of Storage Devices

Brief information:

Our project name is Types of Storage Devices . From this anyone can know
features and function of the storage devices.

All but the most basic of storage devices to provide connectivity and
functionality. Understanding how these storage devices operate and identifying the functions
they perform are essential skills for any device

Storage Devices are the devices that are used for data storage in the
computers. The computer has many types of data storage devices and they can
be broadly divided as - Removable Data Storage Devices and the others as the
Nonremovable Data Storage Devices

Aim of the micro-project:

Identify the purposes, features, and functions of the following storage devices components:

• Secondary Storage

2) PORTABLE HAD DISK
 • Tertiary Storage
1) OPTICAL DISK
2) MAGNETIC TAPES
3) CD
4) DVD

• Off-line Storage
1) Floppy Disk
2) Zip diskette
3) USB Flash drive
4) Memory card

Proposed Methodology:

In our project, we will first decide the title of the project. Then starting to
collect information about that project by discussing with our team members and also taking
reference from internet as well as our guide teacher Mrs.Momin Sir.

In our project we where gathering all whole information about the

networking devices. Then we will start to work on that information. First in our team study
on that information and gave assurance to that collect information is correct or not. After that
we will implement this information on project using Microsoft tools. Then developed
proposal and report on our project.
