Designing and Facilitating Digital Age Communication and Collaboration

Padlet/ Google Docs Students could work with a partner and pick a
topic. They could research information about that
topic and put the facts they find on a padlet. This
allows both students to place facts on there while
working together
For teacher, they could put the skill that they
need ideas for. Teachers could post activities they
have done for practicing that skill.
Google Jamboard Students could create a presentation using sticky
notes about a topic.
For teachers, they could put a math problem on
each sticky and have students answer them with
a specific color sticky note.
Kahoot Students can work together as partners or teams
to answer questions online. They see the
question on the board and choose the shape that
has the correct answer. The quicker you answer,
the higher points you get.
Quizlet Students can take a quiz online with their
classmates. Each student completes the quiz and
will show what place they are in as they answer
questions.
For teachers, they can use this as a formative
assessment when need. Teachers can use a pre
made quiz or make their own.
Seasaw/ Class Dojo Students can make pictures and share it with
their class and/or parent. It is basically an online
portfolio and can show off their work.
For teachers, teachers can have students make
their own portfolio putting in what must be in
there. This allows students to take pride in
showing off what they have done great
throughout the year so far.
