TIME ALLOTMENT 90 minutes

LESSON OUTLINE:
1. INTRODUCTION : Welcome and orient the students regarding the subject and the objective for lesson 1 for third quarter.
2. MOTIVATION : Enable the learners to answer an interactive game (drag & drop the image) to have a quick review of the categories & types of nonfiction.
3. INSTRUCTION/DELIVERY : Learners will view an online book, discuss the different features of literary text, identify the parts of a news story and answer an interactive quiz
game.
4. PRACTICE : Learners will answer an interactive pre-test (label the part) to be able to familiarize with the parts of a news story.
5. ENRICHMENT : The learners will answer a 10-item interactive quiz which will help them further understand the features of literary text and parts of a
news story.
6. EVALUATION : Learners will construct a news article of their own.

to answer one.
3. Always see to it that you only type related materials on the message box. Learners will share their communication thoughts
