A portrait drawing of Asaf ud-Daula,(/) Nawab of Oudh, head only, facing to the left. The Nawab of
Oudh was painted several times by Zoffany during his time in India between 1783-9, including an oil
painting in the collection of the British Library (BL F108).

Purchased by George IV when Prince Regent from Colnaghi & Co., 5 June 1811 for 10s 6d (Royal
Archives GEO/MAIN/27637, 'A Drawing by Zoffany - the Nabob of Oude')
