2. HAZARDS FOR WORKERS AND ENVIRONMENT

 Harmful by inhalation and in contact with skin.
 Irritating to eyes and skin.

3. PREVENTIVE MEASURES AND HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS

Use PPE when using the substance. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open
flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Use explosion-proof electrical,
ventilating, lighting and material handling equipment. Use only non-sparking tools. Keep
container tightly closed. Do not breathe vapor or spray. Do not eat, drink or smoke when
using this product. Use only outdoors or in well-ventilated area. Do not get in skin, eyes
or clothing.
4. EMERGENCY PROCEDURE
Accidental Release
Contain and collect spillage with non-combustible absorbent materials, e.g. sand, earth,
vermiculate and diatomaceous earth. Do not allow to enter drains and watercourses. Clean
preferably with a detergent; avoid use of solvents.
Fire-fighting Measures
Use foam, water spray, dry powder, CO2 as extinguishing media. Never use water jet.
5. FIRST AID
Inhalation
Keep the patient warm in a quiet place with fresh air. If breathing has stopped,
administer artificial respiration. If unconscious place in the recovery position. Seek medical
advice.
Eye Contact
Hold the eyelids apart. Irrigate copiously with clean, fresh water for at least 10 mins.
Seek medical advice if symptoms persist.
Skin Contact
Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with water or use
recognized skin cleanser. Do use solvents or thinners.
Ingestion
If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the container or label. Do not
induce vomiting. Keep person warm and at rest.
6. DISPOSAL
Wastes, including emptied containers, are controlled wastes and should be disposed of
in accordance with local regulations. Waste must be disposed of approved landfill/waste
storage or treatment facility.
