3. PREVENTIVE MEASURES AND HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
Use PPE when using the substance. Use only explosion proof equipment. Keep away
from sources of ignition. No smoking. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using the product.
Avoid breathing dust/fumes/gas/mist/vapours/spray.
4. EMERGENCY PROCEDURE
Accidental Release
Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Contain spillage with non-
combustible absorbent material and transfer in container for disposal according to
local/national regulations.
Fire-fighting Measures
Use foam, dry powder, CO2 as extinguishing media.
5. FIRST AID
Inhalation
Move to fresh air. Consult a physician after significant exposure.
Eye Contact
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 mins.
Remove contact lenses.
Skin Contact
Use mild soap if available. Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water while
removing all contaminated clothes and shoes. If skin irritation persists, call a physician.
Ingestion
Gently wipe or rinse the inside mouth with water. Never give anything by mouth to an
unconscious person.
6. DISPOSAL
Do not burn, or use a cutting torch on, the empty drum. If recycling is not acceptable,
dispose of in compliance with local regulations. Dispose of in accordance with local
regulations. Empty containers should be taken to an approved waste handling site for
recycling or disposal.
