3. PREVENTIVE MEASURES AND HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
Put on appropriate PPE. Keep in the original container or an approved alternative made
from a compatible material; keep tightly closed when not in use. Store and use away
from heat, sparks, open flame or any other ignition source. Use only non-sparking tools.
Empty containers retain product residue and can be hazardous. Do not reuse container.
4. EMERGENCY PROCEDURE
Accidental Release
No action shall be taken involving any personal risk or without suitable training. Evacuate
surrounding areas. Keep unnecessary and unprotected personnel from entering. Do not
touch or walk through spilled material. Shut off all ignition sources. No flares, smoking or
flames in hazard area. Avoid dispersal of spilled material and runoff and conract with soil,
waterways, drains and sewers. Inform relevant authorities if the product has caused
environmental pollution.
Fire Fighting Measure
Use dry chemical, CO2, water spray of foam as extinguishing media.
5. FIRST AID
Inhalation
Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration by trained person. If
breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention immidiately. Loosen tight clothing
such as a collar, tie, belt or wristband.
Eye Contact
Check for and remove any contact lenses. In case of contact, immediately flush eyes
with plenty of water at least 10 mins. Get medical attention immediately.
Skin Contact
Immediately flush skin with plenty of soap and water. Remove contaminated clothes and
shoes. Cold water maybe used. Get medical attention. In event of any complaints or
symptoms, avoid further exposure. Wash clothing before reuse.
Ingestion
Wash out mouth with water. Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position
comfortable for breathing. Give small quantities of water in material has been swallowed.
Stop if the person feels sick as vomiting may be dangerous. Do not induce vomiting unless
directed to do so by medical personnel. Get medical attention. Never give anything by
mouth to an unconcios person. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or wristband.
6. DISPOSAL
Disposal of this product should at all times comply with the requirements of
environmental protection and waste disposal legislation and any regionla local authority
requirements
