 May cause damage to organs through prolonged repeated exposure.
3. PREVENTIVE MEASURES AND HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
Use PPE when using the substance. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open
flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Use explosion-proof electrical,
ventilating, lighting and material handling equipment. Use only non-sparking tools. Keep
container tightly closed. Do not breathe vapor or spray. Do not eat, drink, smoke when
using this product.
4. EMERGENCY PROCEDURE
Accidental Release
Stop leak if without risk. Move containers from spill area. Use spark proof tools and
explosion-proof equipment. Dilute with water and mop if water soluble. Alternatively if
water-insoluble, absorb with an inert dry material and place in appropriate waste disposal
container and dispose of via licensed waste disposal contractor. Avoid dispersal of spilt
material and runoff and contact with soil, waterways, drains and sewers.
Fire-fighting Measures
Use foam, water spray, dry powder, CO2 as extinguishing media. Never use water jet.
5. FIRST AID
Inhalation
Move to fresh air. Keep person warm and rest. If breathing is irregular or if respiratory
arrest occurs, provide artificial respiration or oxygen by trained personnel. Immediately call
a physician.
Eye Contact
Immediately flush eye with running water for at least 15 min, keeping eyelids open. Seek
immediate medical attention.
Skin Contact
Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water or shower. Wash
contaminated clothing before reuse. Immediately call a physician.
Ingestion
If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately. Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth. If
vomiting occurs the head should be kept low as the vomit does not enter the lungs.
6. DISPOSAL
Dispose of contents and container in accordance with all local, regional, national and
international regulations.
