Dr. Nwadike is a Trinidadian born, board
certified veterinary surgeon with a special
interest in orthopedics, surgical oncology,
general and reconstructive surgery. He was
previously a faculty surgeon at North Carolina
State University College of Veterinary
Medicine. He has co-owned and operated a
private small animal referral & emergency
hospital in Maryland since 2002. He has
published clinical and original research articles
in peer-reviewed journals and served for 6
years on the editorial review board for the
Veterinary Surgery Journal.

Abdominal
- Gastric Dilatation Volvulus
- Splenic mass rupture/torsion/ haemoabdomen
- Gastrointestinal foreign bodies or intussusception w/
perforation peritonitis
- Penetrating injuries (animal bite wounds; projectiles)
- Urinary bladder rupture/uroabdomen
- Obstructive uropathy (urethral calculi)
Thoracic
- Traumatic diaphragmatic hernia

Orthopaedic
- Open long bone fractures
- Motor Vehicle Accidents -related pelvic polytrauma
Upper Respiratory
- Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome -related
acute respiratory distress
- Laryngeal paralysis-related acute respiratory distress
