PART ONE

1. Think of two current movie stars. Write the names of the movie stars on a piece of paper.
Check that the spelling is correct. Don't let anyone know the names of your movie stars.
They will be used in a guessing game later. Go to the website and search for your movie
stars. Read about their lives.

2. Scan your movie star's page for information about where the star lives, when he or she got
married or divorced, or how long he or she has worked in movies. Write five sentences about
your movie star using since and for. Make a note of three well-known movies your movie star
has starred in.
Examples:
She was born in London but she has lived in New York for twenty years.
He has been an actor since 1996.
He has won ten awards since 1987.
She hasn't won any other awards for five years.
