1. Work with a partner or small group. Go to the website. Click on one of the projects involving
teenagers. Each group should choose a different project.

(Remember: Just look at the site to get information for this exercise; do not give personal
information or credit card information anywhere in the website.)

2. Read about teenagers who are taking action to improve their community. Scan the text to
find answers to the following questions. In your answers, use verbs + prepositions that are
followed by gerunds.
Example:
The teens in Chicago are working on converting a vacant lot into a meeting place.
