PART TWO
1. Imagine that you are the e-pal you chose. Memorize the e-pal's interests and assume his or
her identity.
2. Search for a potential "e-pal" in the class. Walk around the classroom, stopping to talk to
different students until you find one who shares your "new" interests. Other students will ask
you about your interests.
Example:
A: Hi. I like going to the theater. Do you?
B: No, not really. I prefer doing things outdoors.
A: Oh. I don’t really like doing things outdoors very much. Bye.
OR
Try to find the most suitable e-pal by looking for a person who shares as many interests with you
as possible. Once you have found a suitable e-pal, write a brief e-mail letter to your new e-pal.
