Group 1: Saving Energy at School
The Eumind project gave us an experience of interactive ways to help expand
our knowledge on Saving Energy at School. One of the ways we learnt about
this was through conversing with our peers, the Dutch counterpart of Baken
Park Lyceum School.

Despite the pandemic, Eumind allowed us to keep in touch with the Dutch
students. We communicated over WhatsApp. Most of our queries were related
to the project. We were in contact with each other and exchanged greetings on
various occasions such as Children’s Day, Christmas and New Year.
Video Conference on Zoom helped us interact with each other. We got closer.
We interacted on informal topics such as daily routine, hobbies and about how
they use their free time positively. We enquired with them about energy saving
methods and type of instruments used for the same.

To conclude, we had a great learning experience with our Dutch Counterparts.

We learnt that optimum utilisation of solar energy and cutting down on
unnecessary usage are the keys to save energy. At both of our schools, Solar
panels played a huge role.
Memories of a lifetime accompany these learnings.
