Writing a poem is actually easy. Writing a poem is a way of expressing feelings and
thoughts through words. A poem is a piece of writing which contain a mixture of images,
rhythm and rhyme. Poems can be spoken (performed) or read.
Today, you will be writing a simple poem about yourself. Follow the instruction below to
write your poem.

1. First of all think of a title. A title should be something that is short and simple but symbolize
the whole poem.
2. Next, you will start writing the poem. You will write a simple poem using the layout given at
the next page.
3. When writing a poem, you will have to use a lot of adjective to describe yourself.
