Class activity

1. Pupils are divided into 3 group consisting of 5-6 members.


2. Pupils are briefed by the teacher on how to play the “My Celebration”
game.
3. Each group are given a mahjong paper consisting of examples of
punctuation marks. (Appendix 3)
4. Pupils need to write a simple sentence about celebrating their own
celebrations.
5. Each of the group members need to continue the sentence written by the
group members.
6. Each group need to use 2 punctuation marks in their sentence.
7. Once done, each group present their sentence in front of the class.
8. Students are given 5 minutes to finish the activity.

Class exercise

1. Pupils are given a worksheet by the teacher. (Appendix 4)


2. Pupils are instructed to write a short paragraph, with not more than 50
words on the topic of Chinese New Year.
3. Pupils also need to use proper pronounciation marks in the writing.
4. Pupils are given 5 minutes to write their answers.
5. Pupils that have difficulty in finishing the task are given more time to
finish the question.
6. Teacher randomly picks a pupils to read out their short paragraph.
1. Teacher recapitulates the lesson together with the pupils.
2. Teacher ask if the students like the content of today’s learning.
3. Teacher states two moral values on today’s lesson:
