BASIC EDUCATION – SCHOOL LEARNING CONTINUITY PLAN (BE- SLCP)

I. INTRODUCTION

On this same school year, where, Deped authorities still declared suspension of classes
nationwide due to pandemic, which was then declared by World Health Organization, even
during this hard times, the school were able to continue processing its graduating class and
had graduated 49 candidates for graduation and each graduate has satisfactorily received their
respective certificate of graduation and is ready for enrollment to the next level of education.
On its school building, the school still had a total of 13 operational classrooms, but it still
needs 6 additional classrooms to be used by grade 2,3, 4, 5 and 6 advisers where one class
used SPTA rooms and other class advisers utilizes the dilapidated room which was
scheduled for demolition.
For the current School Year 2021-2022, the school has religiously and stringently
complied all the directives handed down from SDO, as well as the health standards and
protocols mandated by AITF and the Local Government Unit.
The school strictly observed the “No Mask No Entry Policy.’ A foot bath was provided at
the entrance of every classrooms, Physical Distancing was stringently observed, hand
sanitizing and spraying of alcohol, then the use of thermal scanner before anyone could enter
the school premises was ceremoniously done. In addition, alcohol dispensers were also
purchased in every rooms including the office and main gate for hand sanitation. The school
has further implemented the “skeleton workforce” mandated by Deped Order No. 11, s. 2020
and further enhanced by several Deped Memorandum emphasizing strict compliance of all
concerned, e.g.,DM #54 and 56 s. 2020. The school put-in-place an online enrolment in
adherence to th “No Conatct Policy”. Then supported by remote enrollment in tandem with
barangay officials and further beefed up with a face to face enrolment, where teachers
physically report to school in skeletal workforce scheme and conducted enrollment but we
observed health standards and protocols. Teachers were already 100 percent vaccinated.

Planning is the key to make things happen, but ‘’You can’t plow a field simply by turning it over
in your mind’’ (Gordon B. Hinckley). So all of this will be for naught if this will not be put into action.
And with the concerted efforts of all the people involved in school like the school head, teachers, parents
and stakeholders, all of these plans will be carried out, and together we cannot just protect ourselves from
the threat of the pandemic but we can also continue learning and progressing while working amid crisis.
