CONTINUITY PLAN
(BE-LCP)
PREFACE

Learning continuity should be based less on method and more on

objectives — what do we want our students to learn and accomplish? From
there, we can determine the methods we will employ for the different aspects
of our continuity plan:

School Data– includes the enrolment per grade level, data on

transferees, balik-aral, learner’s survey and mapping, preferred learning
modalities, teachers’ profile, readiness to distance learning.

Continuity Plan per Area Aligned to KITE – includes leadership and

management, curriculum and instruction, learning development, health
and safety. Stakeholders support and engagement, resource
management and innovations in the new normal.

Introduction

21st Century learners in the Philippines, so as in other places worldwide

are missing the face-to face instruction due to the pandemic COVID-19. Parents
and educators are distress on their children’s holistic development: physical,
mental, emotional, social and intellectual abilities capable of facing the demands
and challenges of everyday life, enabling them to a globally friendly competition.

Cordon South Central School Annex teaching force amidst the COVID-
19 pandemic, prepares the physical aspect of the school thru the great effort and
helping hands of the Barangay Officials and the parents as well. This is to ensure
the safety of personnel, especially of the learners for the upcoming opening of
classes, though no face to face classes allowed.

In order to ensure the continuity of education for the youth of the

community, a learning continuity plan is being prepared to help every learner,
considering their holistic development at utmost importance in the safest way to
prevent the spread of the corona virus, thus we heal as one, curbing the hindrances
to the holistic growth and development of every learner.
Key Considerations for
CONTINUITY OF EDUCATION

 Teachers and learner’s safety, health and wellbeing is

topmost priority.
 Following the required protocols of authorities.
 Using the recalibrated curriculum (MELC).
 Using the latest technology in the delivery of instruction.
 Empowering families and other stakeholders for redesigning
the learning environment.
 Strengthening partnership with LGUs, NGOs and other
private individual.

2.2.Availability of Digital Gadgets

The households have devices that can be used for their children’s learning. Some of
them also has the capacity to access the internet using their mobile data, only having
difficulty of connecting sometimes due to unstable connection. Most of them has a
non-cable television having only one TV network to access which also has poor
connection due to the location of the locality.

Online learning is not possible in the locality. Only 1.87% has a strong connection
because most of the families living in the community has a low income. One other
reason is the location of the area where signals on television and radio are weak.
