ABSTRACT

The theory of quadratic stochastic operator (qso) has been developed significantly since it was introduced in the early of 20th century by Bernstein through his work on
population genetics. In this research, we constructed dynamical systems generated by measurable finite 𝑚-partition of Poisson qso on the countable state space 𝑋 =
ℤ+ ∪ 0 where 𝑚 = 3. The main aim of this research is to investigate the trajectory behaviour of such operators by reducing its variables into one-dimensional
setting which correspond to the number of its measurable partition. Measure and probability theory alongside the functional analysis will be employed to investigate
the limit behaviour and characteristics of fixed points and periodic points. The results showed that for measure of Poisson qso with three parameters, one can find the
behaviour of such operators either have fixed point or periodic point of period 2. These results showed that the Poisson qso generated by measurable 𝑚-partition
where 𝑚 = 3 can be regular or nonregular transformation depends on the given conditions.

BACKGROUND
Dynamical system can be described by nonlinear operator which refers to a complex system model applies to diverse nonlinear problems in many areas. The theory of qso
which is the simplest nonlinear operator have been introduced by Bernstein through his work on population genetics. In this research, we investigate the regularity and
ergodicity of the constructed qso which can be employed to describe the stability of the asymptotic behaviour of such operators by using measure and probability theory.
Given the fact that different partition of qso on infinite state space may be regular or non-regular transformation, many interesting cases of this dynamical system are
still unsolved. Using the approach from functional analysis, we establish a necessary and sufficient condition to be non-regular and non-ergodic transformation for some qso.

PROBLEMS OBJECTIVES
One of the biggest challenges in the study of nonlinear operator theory is to study the asymptotic
behaviour of nonlinear operators. Even the simplest nonlinear operators, i.e. qso, the problem is still not
fully solved.
We aim to construct a new class of Poisson qso by considering permutated partitions on the
countable state space. The trajectory behaviour of Poisson qso generated by 3-partition will be further
investigated as we are motivated by the study in Ganikhodjaev & Hamzah (2014,2016) and Karim, Hamzah
& Ganikhodjaev (2020).
