The purpose of this agreement is to clearly define the roles and responsibilities of each
party as the academe-industry linkage program is implemented. A program that creates
future/potential employment for T.I.P. graduates, on the job training for T.I.P. students,
and other collaborative endeavors between the company and the school.

B. COMPANY agrees to:
a. Provide formal on-the-job training (OJT) to selected T.I.P. students. The
Company will also strive to run a professional training program. The
Company is requested but is not obligated to give OJT students a stipend
to cover for transportation and meal expenses.
b. Give the opportunity to T.I.P. graduates on parity with other big
universities in terms of potential job opening.
c. Support through student scholarship, or any possible incentive from the
company, from the successful business challenges that are solved.
The Company shall not be liable for any accident or injury that the student-trainee may
suffer during the course of the OJT, provided, however, that the said accident or injury
did not arise by reason of the fault or negligence of the COMPANY and/or any of its
employees, officers and directors. The SCHOOL and the student-trainee shall renounce
and waive any claim against the COMPANY for any loss or injury that the student-
trainee may suffer and which arises from the fault or negligence of the student-trainee in
performing of his/her duties and functions during the OJT.
This agreement shall take effect immediately upon signing and shall continue to be in
force and effect until such time that any one of the parties withdraws from this
Agreement upon 30 days prior notice to the other.
