Learner School Head REFLECTION ON MY PERSONAL LIFELONG PLAN (PLLP) Lifelong learning can enhance our understanding of the world around us, provide us with more and better opportunities and improve our quality of life mentors. My role as a facilitator in lifelong learning is to teach lessons, in a way that engages my learners, to give them the best possible chance of developing their skills to their fullest potentials. This Personal Lifelong Learning Plan is a great help for me to evaluate and assess my needs to be improved as a 21st-century teacher. This also serves as my personal guide on how I will master my skills as an educator to address my learners ‘ individual needs throughout the crafting of my PLLP, I had found some self-learning activities that can be of great help in developing my qualities of 21st literacy skills and identified some barriers that hinder on situations that are very evident on the workforce. Having known the possible barriers that challenge me to master these literacy skills, I have identified some solutions to somehow resolve these concerns. I must admit that this is the first time I had developed a personal lifelong learning plan and I found it difficult since I had to consider a lot of factors between balancing my career and plan in order to avoid future complications and failures in achieving this plan thus making it a reality. I carefully plan and choose meaningful and substantial Activities to improve /enhance all the competencies, putting into consideration the time, support, and resources needed for the success of my plan. With this endeavor towards achieving set goals and plans that aims to improve my capacity to become a worthy 21st-century teacher for my pupils, barriers and challenges are expected along the way and I am then learning to overcome it. Since we are now facing in a very High-tech world. I need to stay up to date on the latest technology and how to use it as a meaningful tool in teaching. Technology can help make things easier and offers a blast of information about the new trends of ideas that are very useful to a learning process. More than this though enrolling in online courses just Like this one GURO 21, my social and emotional skills are somehow developing to the extent I know my personal lifelong Plan would gear success if I am able to stay cutting edge of technology while using technology to keep my pupils as well as my engaged in teaching and learning platforms. It is a great challenge for me, but with the support of my School Head and with the help of my learners, Co-teachers, and other trusted individuals, I know I can make this plan possible. I do embrace the philosopher Socrates’s statement “ The unexamined life is not worth living “ and so with this PLLP, I had this opportunity to examine, explore and discover new ideas, concepts, different points of view and perceive the world of teaching with an open mindset. I am positive and confident enough that this Personal Lifelong Learning Plan that I made would not remain as a plan.I will carry this plan to the best of my ability and this will serve as my guide to grow personally and develop professionally. I should set this as my ultimate goal to be “ The great teacher who inspires learners “ But of course, with strong determination, faith in God, and by His Grace,I can do all things possible to become a more efficient teacher to my learners who greatly rely on me.
