Project Title Global Warming and Climate Change Consciousness

Description Climate change caused by increased greenhouse gases and
pollution increases the temperature over most of the land
surface of the earth. Because of this, an increase in global
temperatures can increase the risk for drought, storms and
other natural disasters which causes lives to be in danger and
livelihoods to be affected
Target Goal Share information on social media about global warming and
climate change and its effect on the increasing occurrence of
different natural disasters, as well as, different ways and
changes in practices of Filipinos in order to prevent and
prepare for its occurrence
Objectives 1. To spread information on what is global warming and
climate change and its effects on the occurrence of
different natural disasters
2. To provide a historical recap of previous significant
disasters that had happened in the Philippines, and what
could have done to prevent it.
3. To provide an awareness of the different human actions
that can further increase the severity of the effects of
global warming and climate change
4. To spread knowledge on how to prepare for unexpected
natural disasters and prevent causing too much damage
especially in the “new normal” setting
