I. The Problem/Need

A. Description of the exact problem/need addressed

The students have need of shoe rags before they enter their room. There are lots of
scrap fabrics from sportswear manufacturing company which are being thrown away in
the garbage dump sites. Many unemployed mothers and out of school youths and
bystanders.

B. Reasons/rationale why the problem/need must be addressed by the business

These situations mention above hamper the economic growth of our country. Increase
crime and social problems which should be addressed by the government.

C. Description on how the business has solved the problem/need

shooSapin will respond to the environmental concern. It will help reduce and recycle
scrap materials into useful shoe rags. By hiring unemployed mothers and out of school
youth, it will solve economic problems in the family as well as in the community. By
making the Out- of -school youth busy with their craft, this lessens the incidence of
crimes and social problems. Also, this will help in addressing Out-of- school youth to be
entering school because they have now the capacity to support themselves. In a
capsule, this company will help manage environmental, economic and social problems.

II. Statement of Vision, Mission and Core Values

A. Vision

shooSapin has a vision of having a healthy, and clean school classroom


environment and a community of zero clothing scrap waste and students’ wholesome
expression of their thoughts and emotions.

B. Mission
Its mission is to produce personalized shoe rags from clothing scrap materials
wastage of RTW manufacturers and market them to be used by students in the
classroom.

C. Core Values

Its core values are MakaDiyos, Makabayan, Makatao at Makalikasan.

A. Research and Analysis

TARGET MARKET

shooSapin aims to capture the hearts of the students in the schools in all level where the
policy of cleanliness in the classrooms are being promoted.

MARKET SIZE AND TRENDS


As a start, the company will venture first in the city of Pasay, then satellite to Metro
Manila to all parts of the Philippines where Shoe rags are needed. It also plans to
market to schools abroad where shoe rags are used. Promotions on the use of shoe
rags will be actively enhanced.

B. Marketing Strategies

Massive promotion of the products to schools will be conducted. Display store


will be shown in strategic stalls in the mall. Flyers will be distributed in school zone
areas.

We will also allow consignment basis in the schools. Discounts will be given to
cash buyers and wholesalers. Orders will be placed at the business office located at
10th-7th St. Villamor Air Base, Pasay City and contact numbers of 555-3333.

How will the investors be served?

The initial investment of each investor is One Thousand Pesos (P1,000.00). The
investors will have equal sharing of 80% of the net profit. The 20% remaining net profit
will be set aside as savings for future expansion. Below is the table showing

Description of business ownership, roles of the partners

shooSapin is own and operated by four Grade 12 -ABM Habagat students who
invested equal amount to start the business. They will also hare in the operations of the
business.

1. Personalized designs- the customers can design and choose their desired features
on the shoe rags.

2. Affordable and reasonably priced since the products are made from scrap materials

LOCATION OF THE BUSINESS

The business office is located at 10th-7th St. Villamor Air Base, Pasay City and
contact numbers of 555-3333. The warehouse address is 536 Kabakas St, Binondo,
Manila. The store for the products will be the YECS store of schools, stalls in Baclaran
and Divisoria Mall.

A. Detailed description of products

a. Designs

shooSapin shoe rags are uniquely designed according to the

preferences of the customers. It is made limited by exclusive design of the buyer.

b. Shoe rag

The shoe rags fit all sizes, washable, reusable and comfortable to use.

EQUIPMENT

At the start, the sewing of the shoe rags will be handled by the Multi-Purpose
Cooperative. Therefore, we do not need to buy machineries and equipment. Office
equipment like laptop and calculator are lent by the Financial & Operations Manager,
Ms. Maureen Velasco. Labor cost will be paid to the Multi-Purpose Cooperative at P5
per dozen.

After 5 years in business, we will put up an official office to transact business and
operate.

As a start, our sales will come from school in Pasay, then we will introduce the products
to schools outside Pasay until we reach the whole of Metro Manila and the country. We
can also venture on Online shopping, and direct marketing strategy.

B. Team’s Contribution to the Business

The Chief Manager shall have the full responsibility to lead the team in operating
and sustaining the business. The Financial & Operations manager responsible to the
financial documents, regulatory requirements, and financial liabilities and obligations.
The Marketing manager is responsible for the marketing, sale, promotion of the product.
The Logistics Manager shall be in charged with the procurement of supplies and
materials. The Human Resource Manager shall be responsible in the manpower
recruitment and other concerns with regards to pooling of laborers.

C. Others who can be part of the team

In our business, we welcome the advice and help of our parents and teachers.
As the business grows and orders are increasing, we will hire on call sewers, designers
and store staff.

VI. Operational Plan

A. Schedule of Activities for Operations

Our team will meet up for the scheduling of the task. We will have pre-made shoe
rags to serve as samples for the customers as we introduce our products in the schools.
We will take orders and produce the desired products. We shall take turns in monitoring
the production of our shoe rags.

B. Monitoring and Evaluation

To ensure the success of our business, we shall religiously monitor and


supervise our sales and production.
