Section 1: Executive Summary

shooSapin is a footwear business that offers a variety of shoe rag designs for the
student preference to be used inside the classroom. It provides not only quality and
comfortable shoe rags but economic response to recycle scrap material and freedom of
expression of the clientele.

shooSapin business address will be 10 th-7th St. Villamor Air Base, Pasay City and
contact numbers of 555-3333. The warehouse address is 536 Kabakas St, Binondo,
Manila. The store for the products will be the YECS store of schools and stalls of
Baclaran and Divisoria Mall. The products can be sold at discount for public school
students who buy in bulk.

shooSapin offers various personalized shoe rags that will inspire more customers
to buy at affordable price at the same time encourage them to tidiness and recycling of
clothing waste. This is one of the shooSapin marketing plan on its pursuit of being
successful.

shooSapin is managed and operated by four Grade 12 students of ABM of Pasay


City High School S.Y. 2017-2018.
Section 2: PERSONAL DETAILS
a. Name and brief biography

The company shooSapin will be own and operated by Grade 12 ABM


Habagat students of Pasay High School namely:

1. Josie A. De La Peña is a Grade 12 ABM learner. She is a daughter of a


businessman who own a Sportwear shop which produces uniforms for sports like
basketball and others sport uniform. The Sportwear shop is the famous tailoring shop in
Pasay City. Sportwear shop will provide the scrap materials to be used in making shoe
rag.

2. Maureen Velasco, a bright student of the Grade 12 ABM who has skills
in business operations because she has worked experiences as assistant clerk in a
store in Divisoria and Baclaran malls owned by her relatives. She received full
scholarship recipient in Harvard University for her bachelor degree. She has an
understanding in the operations and financial planning in a business. She learns the
business operations from her relative store. She can manage to market in bulk the shoe
rags.

3. Rodrigo J. Gloriana and Jaimer C. Talatayod are both outstanding artist


in the school. They are popular in creating different design such as the wall painting of
the classroom and etc. They received awards in designing in different institutions. They
received full scholarship grant in a Color Magazine for their bachelor degree in Fine
Arts. They can design personalize shoe rags for customers upon request.

Mrs. Eva S. Montana is the class adviser of Grade 12 ABM Habagat of


Pasay High School, Bureau of Curriculum Development. She inspired her students to
be successful entrepreneurs.

a. Name of the Business

The name of the business is shooSapin. The business address will be 10 th-
7th St. Villamor Air Base, Pasay City and contact numbers of 555-3333. The warehouse
address is 536 Kabakas St, Binondo, Manila. The store for the products will be the
YECS store of schools, stalls in Baclaran and Divisoria Mall. The products can be sold

b. Description of the Business Model

shooSapin Sample Products

shooSapin will produce designers’ shoe rags made of material scrap such as
sports uniforms fabric come from the SportsWear. The product will help the environment
to lessen waste material of the community and make a personalized shoe rug according
to the preference of the customer. The products are 2-in-1 shoe rags. It will maintain
the classroom cleanliness especially the flooring and to display their creativity and
freedom of expression. The products are affordable, reasonable and competitive.

I. The Problem/Need

A. Description of the exact problem/need addressed

The students have need of shoe rags before they enter their room. There are lots of
scrap fabrics from sportswear manufacturing company which are being thrown away in
the garbage dump sites. Many unemployed mothers and out of school youths and
bystanders.

B. Reasons/rationale why the problem/need must be addressed by the business

These situations mention above hamper the economic growth of our country. Increase
crime and social problems which should be addressed by the government.

C. Description on how the business has solved the problem/need

shooSapin will respond to the environmental concern. It will help reduce and recycle
scrap materials into useful shoe rags. By hiring unemployed mothers and out of school
youth, it will solve economic problems in the family as well as in the community. By
making the Out- of -school youth busy with their craft, this lessens the incidence of
crimes and social problems. Also, this will help in addressing Out-of- school youth to be
entering school because they have now the capacity to support themselves. In a
capsule, this company will help manage environmental, economic and social problems.

A. Vision

shooSapin has a vision of having a healthy, and clean school classroom


environment and a community of zero clothing scrap waste and students’ wholesome
expression of their thoughts and emotions.

B. Mission

Its mission is to produce personalized shoe rags from clothing scrap materials
wastage of RTW manufacturers and market them to be used by students in the
classroom.

TARGET MARKET
shooSapin aims to capture the hearts of the students in the schools in all level where the
policy of cleanliness in the classrooms are being promoted.

MARKET SIZE AND TRENDS

As a start, the company will venture first in the city of Pasay, then satellite to Metro
Manila to all parts of the Philippines where Shoe rags are needed. It also plans to
market to schools abroad where shoe rags are used. Promotions on the use of shoe
rags will be actively enhanced.

B. Marketing Strategies

Massive promotion of the products to schools will be conducted. Display store


will be shown in strategic stalls in the mall. Flyers will be distributed in school zone

We will also allow consignment basis in the schools. Discounts will be given to
cash buyers and wholesalers. Orders will be placed at the business office located at
10th-7th St. Villamor Air Base, Pasay City and contact numbers of 555-3333.

How will the investors be served?

The initial investment of each investor is One Thousand Pesos (P1,000.00). The
investors will have equal sharing of 80% of the net profit. The 20% remaining net profit
will be set aside as savings for future expansion. Below is the table showing

EQUIPMENT

At the start, the sewing of the shoe rags will be handled by the Multi-Purpose
Cooperative. Therefore, we do not need to buy machineries and equipment. Office
equipment like laptop and calculator are lent by the Financial & Operations Manager,
Ms. Maureen Velasco. Labor cost will be paid to the Multi-Purpose Cooperative at P5
per dozen.

After 5 years in business, we will put up an official office to transact business and
operate.

As a start, our sales will come from school in Pasay, then we will introduce the products
to schools outside Pasay until we reach the whole of Metro Manila and the country. We

B. Team’s Contribution to the Business

The Chief Manager shall have the full responsibility to lead the team in operating
and sustaining the business. The Financial & Operations manager responsible to the
financial documents, regulatory requirements, and financial liabilities and obligations.
The Marketing manager is responsible for the marketing, sale, promotion of the product.
The Logistics Manager shall be in charged with the procurement of supplies and
materials. The Human Resource Manager shall be responsible in the manpower
recruitment and other concerns with regards to pooling of laborers.

C. Others who can be part of the team

In our business, we welcome the advice and help of our parents and teachers.
As the business grows and orders are increasing, we will hire on call sewers, designers
and store staff.

VI. Operational Plan

A. Schedule of Activities for Operations

Our team will meet up for the scheduling of the task. We will have pre-made shoe
rags to serve as samples for the customers as we introduce our products in the schools.
We will take orders and produce the desired products. We shall take turns in monitoring
the production of our shoe rags.

To ensure the success of our business, we shall religiously monitor and


supervise our sales and production.

The company will have a start up capital of P4,000.00 which will be carried up to
the succeeding years of operation.

Funds will come from personal savings of each team members. There will be an
initial donations of scrap fabrics from Sportwear company.

A. STATEMENT. OF THE BUSINES “LONG TERM DESIRED OUTCOMES”

Having a vision of “zero” waste products, shooSapin will engage the learners in
promoting environmental awareness and cleanliness at the same time enhance their
creativity and freedom in expressing their thoughts and emotions.

By “Zero” waste product, the environment is expected to be clean and sanitized. By


freedom of expressing thought and emotions, the learners are encouraged to be
thinking individuals rather than passive individuals making them productive and
contributing for the welfare of their community.

B. STATEMENT OF SOCIAL IMPACT GENERATED FROM EACH BUSINESS


ACTIVITIES
shooSapin will employ low-income earners and unemployed parents and
students. Buying and using the shooSapin shoe rags will promote economy of the
community, promote patriotism and goodwill on the part of the learners. They will be
patronizing Filipino made products and helping the low-income earners or the
unemployed parents in their livelihood program.

C. STATEMENT DATA ON THE BENEFIT AND IMPACT OF THE BUSINESS TO THE


COMMUNITY

EMPLOYMENT

As the company progress, it will cater to the local community, hire the
unemployed Filipinos in the community. The company will eventually help reduce
unemployment and thereby help the country’s economy.

WOMEN

The Women are the priority in the employment. They can sew shoe rags in their
homes at the same time taking care of their children at home. This will help establish
family solidarity and economy and lessening troublesome children in the streets.

global environmental concern. Second, the economic progress of
the out of school youth and unemployed parents. Lastly, the
