Wstęp
Książka GR8 Paraphrases Extra Practice. Parafrazy zdań ze słowem kluczowym. Zestawy
zadań to zbiór ćwiczeń, który pozwala uczniowi przetestować znajomość transformacji
zdań z wykorzystaniem słowa kluczowego. Zbiór ćwiczeń jest uzupełnieniem książki
GR8 Paraphrases. Parafrazy zdań ze słowem kluczowym i uwzględnia wszystkie
zagadnienia gramatyczne przedstawione w tej publikacji.

W książce dokonano systematycznego przeglądu zagadnień gramatycznych w oparciu


o wytyczne Centralnej Komisji Egzaminacyjnej podane w Informatorze o egzaminie
ósmoklasisty z języka angielskiego od roku szkolnego 2018/2019. Publikacja zawiera
15 zestawów powtórkowych, które prezentują różnorodne struktury gramatyczne. Tym samym
umożliwia ona zastosowanie umiejętności nabytych podczas pracy z książką GR8 Paraphrases.
Parafrazy zdań ze słowem kluczowym. Zbiór ćwiczeń może być również wykorzystywany
jako samodzielna publikacja przez osoby, które chcą szybko i sprawnie powtórzyć materiał

O czym warto pamiętać przy wykonywaniu parafraz
1. Upewnij się, że w lukę wpisujesz odpowiednią liczbę wyrazów. Wyraz to ciąg znaków oddzielonych spacjami:
→ here – jedno słowo
→ over there – dwa słowa
→ aren’t – jedno słowo
→ are not – dwa słowa
→ a cat – dwa słowa
→ a well-balanced diet – trzy słowa

2. Upewnij się, że słowo kluczowe zostało użyte w niezmienionej formie.


→ Jeśli słowem kluczowym jest NOT, nie możesz użyć formy skróconej, czyli n’t.
We haven’t got a big flat.
NOT
ŹLE We don’t live in a big flat.
DOBRZE We do not live in a big flat.

→ Jeśli słowem kluczowym jest czasownik, który w parafrazie będzie częścią przeczenia, nie możesz użyć formy
skróconej, czyli n’t.

ŹLE Finally, it isn’t raining anymore.
DOBRZE Finally, it is not raining anymore.

3. Upewnij się, że w luce znajdują się wszystkie potrzebne słowa. Zwróć szczególną uwagę na:
→ przedimki (a, an, the)

MOST
ŹLE Where are most of computer games produced?
DOBRZE Where are most of the computer games produced?

→ przyimki (for, in, to)


Did they make this film in Hollywood?
FILM

4. Upewnij się, że używasz czasownika w odpowiedniej liczbie:

Our meeting with the manager starts at 2 p.m. tomorrow.


WITH
We are meeting with the manager at 2 p.m. tomorrow.

People shouldn’t drink so much coffee because this leads to nervousness.


TOO
If one drinks too much coffee, one becomes nervous.
