Energy Sources Infographic

Directions: Using Canva and the energy source you have chosen, you will create an infographic
describing the steps needed for that energy sources to be made into useable electricity.

Steps:

1. Login to canva.com
a. You will need to register (remember your password!)
2. Click on the “USE CUSTOM DIMENSIONS” button in the upper right-hand corner
3. The dimensions for your infographic will be:
a. Width = 1500
b. Length = 1000
4. Click “DESIGN” button
5. Use the LAYOUTS, ELEMENTS, TEXT, and BACKGROUND options to create your
infographic

How to save, download, and submit:

1. The infographic will automatically save (similar to a Google doc)


2. Click “Download” in the upper toolbar
3. Save the file as a PDF – standard
4. Click Download. There will be a pop-up window – click the link “download a watermark draft”
a. The file will go into your Downloads folder on the computer by default.
5. Move your file from the Downloads folder on your H:/ drive
6. Rename your file using the following template:
a. Last Name_First Name_ Period_Infographic
7. Submit the file through Brightspace.
8. Infographic is due next class
