the assigned disaster.
3. Engage and inform the public about disaster preparedness and emergency
response through social media platforms like Facebook, utilizing informative
captions and relevant hashtags.

I. GOAL

The participants must be able to showcase their knowledge on the safety actions before, during, and
after a selected disaster event and create an info-graphic that is readily accessible and easily
understandable for the people.

II. ROLE

The students must assume that they are community officials that are presenting their info-graphics
to the community officials and the residents of the community. They should show that they have prepared
an accessible and understandable info-graphic material.

III. AUDIENCE

The audience will be their teacher who will serve as the community leader who will approve their
infographic material so that they can proceed to carrying out the info-video connected to their 2nd Major
Performance Task.

IV. SITUATION

The following mechanics must be followed:


1. This mini-performance task is a group work.
2. You are grouped with 7 members per section.
3. The said output must be submitted on March 23, 2024.
4. Team Leaders are responsible for submitting the list of the members with remarks on their individual
tasks/contributions. They are also responsible for assigning roles to the members so that all of them can

contribute to the Mini-Performance Task.


5. The group must prepare an info-graphic material about a specific hazard/disaster.
6. The teacher will assign hazard/disaster to each group.
7. The students must post their info-graphic on Facebook.
8. They should get feedback from 5 people who reacted from their material.
9. The group should print the Rubric and Leader’s Rating.
10. A soft copy of the file must be submitted before the deadline and should be submitted in the Google Classroom.

V. PRODUCT/PERFORMANCE
The class will create engaging and informative infographics about a certain disaster. Each group (same
group with Major PT) will be assigned with a certain disaster. Inside the infographic, it must include the following:

a. the name of the disaster


b. a brief overview about the disaster you are assigned with
c. a highlight of preventive measures and strategies to mitigate the impact of the disaster
d. the things to do before, during, and after a disaster,
e. emergency numbers to dial if a disaster occurs

The students are also going to post their infographic in their Facebook accounts with an informative caption
and use the hashtag #BeDisasterReady and #EmergencyPreparedness. Below are the assigned hazard/disaster for
each group.
