Part 1: Rationale
• All Grade 12 students are expected to create their own infographic as their final performance task in their CPAR and MIL
subjects.
• This aims to develop the students’ skill in organizing necessary and reliable information about the topic assigned to their class.
• This aims to hone the student’s artistic skills and ability to use creative techniques in the process of creation.
• This aims to make them understand the challenges and risks of internet use especially to the 21st century learners and to raise
awareness on how to respond given the different threats of social media.
• This also aims to make their works a tool to educate and spread awareness in their own community about the different threats
of social media.
• This task covers particularly False Information/Fake News, Cybercrimes, Netiquette and the like. It would help the students
hone their skills in communicating ideas, and spreading awareness in Media and Information Literacy.
Part 2: Guidelines
1. Each student will create his/her own infographic, it may be done digitally or traditionally (using paper, colors, pens,etc.).
2. The topic of the infographic was randomly picked by the president of the class.
3. Students must create an original infographic.
4. The infographic must consist of necessary and accurate information that will educate others about the topic assigned to
them.
5. The students must create an original, artistic, and meaningful infographic.
6. The infographic must be in the same size of the long bond paper (8.5x13)
7. Submission of the infographic is on the first day of the resumption of classes.
8. Students will get deduction of points if they will not adhere to the guidelines mentioned above
