As an intern I have worked with Dynamic Cables Pvt. Ltd., an electrical equipment
producer as a junior analyst. My role was to conduct market research and surveys to
identify competitors in the market and report on competitive advantages that they
possessed over Dynamic Cables Pvt Ltd. It helped the company in positioning its
products correctly and I gained valuable experience in the business environment.

As an intern , I have worked with Viber Media, for promotion of their instant messaging
application, Viber. My task was to use the social media, such as twitter, Facebook and
Google+ and advertise the application that was losing its charm. The project helped
Viber Media get a more stable and wider customer base and the project helped me to
improve my competency in marketing and promotion activities.

I believe that we owe a lot to the society we are living in, where we need to contribute
as much as we can as individuals. It is in the light of this thought that I joined an NGO
Lokmanch which aims at empowering women. It is a small initiative from my end that
can make some difference to the lives of those few unfortunate women who are
confined to the narrow walls of domesticity and are often the victims of suppression
from the opposite sex. My role in the organisation was to enlighten these oppressed
women (widows and women in rural areas) on the importance of education and
employment. While some were persuaded to go to schools and learn, others were
trained to up-skill their abilities to the present working requirements and then provided
jobs to help them make independent. This gave me an insight into why Human
Resource is important. Also, I got some knowledge about Corporate Social
Responsibility.

I have worked with an international garment export house based in Mumbai as a
portfolio manager. My job was to make sure that all the garments had been recorded for
and a proper accounting was done for each piece. I also dealt with the dealers
