MOTIVATED CONNECTION SITE STATUS PROBLEM
Chuhe Hanjie is a part of Wuhan Central Cultural District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. Besides commerce, it is also a project of urban There are many problems with the status quo of the site, and it is these problems

cultural area. The Chu River is 2.2 kilometers long and connects East Lake and Shahu Lake. built. Here are the problems that led to this cause.

MONOTONOUS TRAFFIC ROUTE

DISTRICT ANALYSIS There are four roads running through the site, all in the form of bridges, mainly
serving the traffic of automobiles with fewer pedestrians.
LACK OF RELEVANCE

UNIVERSITY OF HUBEI

The middle of the site is separated by rivers and flows into lakes at both ends. This
leads to little association between the two sides
LACK OF PLANTING

TRAFFIC ANALYSIS
The accessibility of the site is very high, and there are many main roads from north to South and east to west. Metro Line 4 brings a large number of people to the site, but most of them are office workers rather than tourists, so there are few people who really benefit from the site.
There are many traffic routes, but the interaction between the two sides of the river is greatly weakened due to the blockage of the river in the middle of the site.In the venue, the range of activities of the crowd is divided into two parts by the river. The two sides are connected by
bridges across the river, but bridges serve cars rather than pedestrians, so the interaction between the two sides is very low.

To the government affairs There are more business areas between the site and another large business
district, so the connection is closer. Compared with another business district,
the site has less contact with the university, so it will lose a large number of
consumers.

MASTER PLAN ANALYSIS SOLUTION POINTS
The design provides an effective solution to several important issues on the site, which can be visualized in the master plan. There are many necessary details on the floor plan to make Veranda more efficient The design points involve many aspects, mainly

The entire building is generated by simple geometric changes. The overall shape is
oval, and a streamlined design is used on the facade, so that the building does not
look stiff. At the same time, the geometric blocks were separated on the building,
and a connected corridor was obtained. The corridor not only plays the role of linking
the various living areas, but also makes the entire living area more transparent
without being closed.

WETLAND PARK OF CANGLONG ISLAND
WETLAND PARK OF CANGLONG ISLAND LOCATION
The project is located on Canglong Island, Jiangxia Distr owing in many places and some waters are polluted. At the same time, the planting area of a single plant is large, which is not conducive to
ecological diversity. Moreover, a single plant has resulted in fewer bird species on the site.
As mentioned above, the site is actually in a good location and has its natural advantages, but these problems are now caused by human error.
The project aims to promote ecological diversity while improving the existing pollution problems of existing sites and enabling people to live in harmony with nature.

RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS WITH STRONG LINKS TO GREEN SPACE

The green space will link the original separated residential area and at the same time extend deeper into the
neighbourhoods, which allows the residents to access the green space to a large extent and thus develop social
interaction. Further, the more residents there are in the green space, the fewer drug addicts there will be in contrast,

2 People can go into the flowerbeds to lie down or chat when they need a break. 2 According to preliminary research, people are more inclined to sit and chat at night.
The public realm provides them with the space to do so.

3 The square style public realm can engage the passerby during the daytime. 3 Pools with bright lights still attract swimmers at night.

4 The purified waters are suitable for people to extend water sports. 4 The LED strip will outline the shape of the wave steps at night, which makes the
public realm safe at night as well as aesthetic.
DESIGN STRATEGY
Different areas of the public space have different numbers of people participating due to their connection to the surrounding environment.

Because of the area of the development site that is close to

residential areas, it is important to avoid crowds generating too
much activity and noise. The glass terrace will allow visitors to slow
down and enjoy the view and the fish below the terrace in peace.
