Clinical Area: Medical Ward

General Objective:
Acquisition and application of knowledge, skills, and attitude through the utilization of the
Nursing Process and performance of professional management and leadership skills in the care of
sick adult clients with life - threatening conditions, acutely ill, multi - organ problems, high
acuity, and emergency situation toward health promotion, disease prevention, restoration and
maintenance and rehabilitation.

Specific Objectives:
At the end of 24 - hours of virtual related learning experience, (Asynchronous &synchronous
online session) I shall be able to:
 Maintain rapport with the clinical instructor, co-nursing student during the synchronous
online session;
 Participate in the pre and post conferences with the clinical instructor actively.
 Familiarize to the online platform and management learning system thoroughly, to include
o synchronous session netiquettes
o ADZU learning contract
o grading system
o review of nursing rules, policies, and regulations
o CON administration, faculty, and staff
 Acquaint with the different online learning system comprehensively, to include
o Platform uses for online class (Google clasrrom, Zoom, Eclass)
o Asynchronous, synchronous, and academic consultation.
o Learning modules/pockets
o RLE requirements and procedures
 Analyze correctly significant assessment data for trends, cues, or patterns, and determine
client’s actual, potential, or risk health patterns;
 Utilize the nursing process for the care of sick adult clients with the following problems.
o Medical Surgical (General)
 Differentiate appropriately normal from abnormal laboratory findings and determine its
significance.
 Investigate correctly the pathophysiology of the different condition and identify the rationale
behind different nursing diagnoses and intervention.
 Conduct a drug study comprehensively of the following drugs utilized in the case:
o Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy (HAART)
 Monitor, record, and graph data accurately
 Document virtual client's responses/nursing care services rendered and process/outcomes of
the nurse client working
 Ensure completeness, integrity, and safety, and security of information on following
o Nursing process
o organized recording and charting (e.g. FDAR, SOAPIE, ADPIE)
o Legal documentation
 Show awareness of ethical, moral, and spiritual values of patients when performing virtual
procedures online.
 Accomplish correct endorsing procedure of the patient to the next nurse - on –duty efficiently.
 Evaluate my performance at the end of the RLE duty sincerely.
