General Objectives:
Acquisition and application of knowledge, skills, and attitude through the utilization of
nursing process and performance of professional management and leadership skills in the care of
sick adult clients with life-threatening conditions, acutely ill/multi-organ problems, high acuity
and emergency situation toward health promotion, disease prevention, restoration and
maintenance and rehabilitation.

Learning Objectives:
At the end of 24 hours of virtual related learning experience (Asynchronous &
Synchronous online session) the student shall be able to:

1. Establish rapport with the clinical instructor and duty mates during the synchronous
online session;
2. Participate in the pre and post conference actively;
3. Familiarize the online platform and management learning system thoroughly;
4. Acquaint with the different online learning system comprehensively;
5. Formulate nursing objectives and plan of activities for the week accordingly;
6. Review the following topics, primarily:
i. Admitting
ii. Ethical responsibilities of a staff nurse in the ER when admitting a patient
iii. Transferring client
iv. Documentation methods: FDAR, SOPIE, & ADPIE
7. Gather patient history through effective nursing communication sensitively;
8. Perform physical assessment techniques on sick adult clients with life-threatening
condition appropriately;
9. Perform vital signs assessment and ensure patient comfortability during the procedure
considerably;
10. Promote health through health education, risk education, and disease prevention
extensively;
11. Formulate nursing care plan comprehensively;
12. Formulate drug study comprehensively;
