chart was developed in the year 1910. The Gannt chart is very useful in
project management and some of these are,
1. It helps us access how long a project should take.
2. It helps use in determining the resources needed.
3. It helps us plan the order in which a task should be completed.
4. It helps to determine interim goal for a project.
5. It helps to determine the responsibility of a task of each team
member.
6. It helps team to document progress on a project.

Characteristics of a good short report

1. Since the target audience knows the reported problem, short report avoids
a detailed introduction.
2. Precision; in a good report, the report writer is very clear about the exact
and definite purpose of writing the report.
3. Accuracy of facts; information contained in a report must be based on
accurate facts.
4. Internal users; it is an effective tool of communication between top
executives and subordinates in the same organization.
5. A good short report contains suitable ordering of information and
appropriate formatting.
6. A good short report contains simple language and a clear indication of the
writer’s purpose.
