Clients & Groups Subsystem:

 Client Maintenance:
 Add Personal Client: Take option “A” and enter the details required for the client
creation. “50002043” is the Personal client created.
 Add Cooperate Client: Take option “A” and enter the details required for the client
creation. “50002044” is the corporate client created.
We can identify the client Number difference by checking the flag “Personal/Corporate”
in ‘CLNTPF’ file.
 Modify Client: User can modify all the details except Account Status by taking Option
‘C’.
 Inquire Client: User can inquire about the client by taking option ‘D”.
 Delete Client: User can delete the client by taking option ‘E’. Client “50002044” is
deleted.
 Client Merge: User can merge two clients by taking option ‘F’. This helps the system to
remove the duplicates. Created “50002045” client and merge “50002043” and
“50002045” by retaining the prior and deleting the second.
 Inquire on Client Roles: It contains all the data related to the client say the agent,
beneficiaries, alias etc… which can be done by taking option ‘G’.
 Link Clients: User can link two clients by taking an option ‘H’. Created ‘50002046’ and
‘50002047’ clients to link.
 Unlink Clients: It is the reversal of Link client which can be done by taking option ‘I’.
 Update Client Status: User can update the client status by taking the option ‘J’.

 Bank/Branch Maintenance: Allows the user to create, modify, enquire and delete the
bank/branch related to the client.
Created a bank “Pavan’s Bank”. All the details related to the bank were stored in ‘BANKPF’ file.

 Client Bank Acct Maintenance: Allows the user to create, modify, enquire and authorize client
bank details.

 Underwriting Enquires:
 Client Relationships: Allows the user to maintain the relationships with the other clients.
 Direct Debit Mandates: Allows the user to create, modify and enquire client mandates.
 Direct Debit Dishonours: Allows the user to create dishonors for any issue happen for the debit
mandate.

Life Agent Subsystem:

 Agent Maintenance:
 Agent Appointment: Allows the user to assign the client to the agent. Assign the client
“50002046” to agent “60000576” (Automatically generated or given manually). All the
agent details were stored in “AGNTPF” file.
 Agent Modify: Allows the user to modify the agent.
 Agent Terminate: Allows the user to terminate the agent by marking the termination
date.Will get the information in AGLFPF file.
 Agent Inquiry: Allows the user to inquire the agent.
 Reporting Inquiry – higher Level: Shows all the higher reporting hierarchy levels.
 Reporting Inquiry – lower level: Shows all the lower reporting hierarchy levels.
 Agent Production inquiry: Shows the production of the agent.
 Reinstate Terminate Agent: Allows the user to remove the termination for the agent by
blanking the termination date.

 Agent Commission change:

 Agent Movement Submenu:


 Promote: Allows the user to promote the agent.
 Demote: Allows the user to demote the agent and while demote the agent , system
allows the downline agents to transfer to different agent.
 Transfer: Similar to Promote.
 Promotion History: Provides the promotion history of the agent.

Proposals/New Business Subsystem:

 New Contract Proposal: Allows the user to Create, Modify, Enquiry the new proposal (Contract
is in Proposal Status, Not Issued).
Created the contract Number ‘00002026’ for client ‘50002047’, agent ‘60000577’ with a sum
assured of 100000 and total premium amount is calculated as 2700.
 Contract Issue: Before issuing the contract, all the validations needs to be fulfilled for the
Contract proposal say the suspense account etc.. To create the suspense account we need to
create the Receipts (Receivables and Payables). After creating the receipt with the suspense
account (Money equivalent to the Premium generated).
 Alter/Cancel from Incept:

Receivables and Payables Subsystem:

 Receipts: Create a receipt by taking option ‘A’. Created the receipt ‘2006027’.

Contract Servicing:

 Minor Alterations:
 User can add beneficiary by taking action ‘A’ and check the transaction details by taking
contract enquiry.
 User can use the premium dispatch address to the different client by taking action ‘C’.
 User can change the servicing agent by taking action ‘D’.
 User can change the contract owner by taking action ‘E’.
 Checked all the actions under Minor Alterations except the suppress actions.
 Contract Enquires:
 Allows the user to enquire about the contracts and clients.
 Billing Changes:
 Allows the user to change the billing frequency.
 Death Claims:
 Allows the user to register the death claims and approve the death claims.
 After registering the death the status changed from ‘Inforce’ to ‘Reg Death Deceased’.
 After approval the status changed to ‘death clm deceased’.
