SY. 2021-2022 MID-YEAR INSERVICE TRAINING FOR TEACHERS

1. Relative to DepEd Order No. 29, s. 2021 or the School Calendar of Activities for SY 2021-
2022, specifically in Item No. 22 of its Implementing Guidelines, and Division Memorandum No.
36, s. 2022 or the Conduct of INSET During the Midyear Break, please be informed that the
conduct of INSET in schools and learning centers may be allowed from February 2-4,2022.
2. Item No.22 of the implementing guidelines states that, “the first two days of the five-day mid-year
break may be spent to evaluate the school’s progress attained in the implementation of the
educational programs, projects, and activities (PPAs), as well as to review the performance of
teachers and the school staff in order to address concerns through collaborative effort. The last
three days may be devoted for the conduct of the school-based In-Service Training (INSET)
activities for teachers’ continued professional development and preparation of their Instructional
Materials (IMs).
3. With this, our school-based INSET will be on February 2-4, 2022, from 8:00AM-5:00PM and will
utilize synchronous and asynchronous modes. This activity aims to:
1. Mid-year performance review of programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) by
coordinators.
2. Review on best practices
3. Preparation of Learning Activity Sheets and Weekly Home Learning Plans for the 3 rd
and 4th quarters
4. The participants for this activity are the elementary / secondary teachers.
5. See enclosures 1 and 2 for your guidance.
6. Dissemination of this School Memorandum is desired.
