Hello team! We have a very significant problem before us that we should try to solve. I'm
talking about the problem of food waste in the world!

Around the world a whole lot of food is produced, billions of tons (Picture 1, Picture 2,
Picture 3, Picture 4). The problem is that a very large portion of the food is thrown away.
More precisely - 40 percent, which is almost half of all food produced is discarded (photo).
Every year in the US alone 1.3 billion tons of food are thrown away. Do you understand what
a billion and 300 million tons are ?? it is more than the weight of a thousand largest
merchant ships (picture) and more than the weight of 500 of the tallest buildings in the
world! (Picture).

The production of food requires factories and machines that sometimes pollute the
environment (picture - factory smoke). And the food that is thrown away, or burned or
buried in the ground - these two ways harm the environment and create gases that increase

If only the food thrown in the US were to reach them, we would solve the problem of
hunger all over the world!

Today in your mission you will try to give a certain solution to the problem.
You're going to be sent to New York State ( photo ) New York is located in the eastern part of
North America, not far from Maryland (photo). In New York you will land in the main square
of Times Square, one of the most famous places in the world, mainly thanks to the hundreds
of thousands of people who pass by it every day, the illuminated billboards and the main

Your mission is to go through the food chains and collect all their leftover food and deliver it
to a needy house in Chinatown (which we will tell you about later in the mission). You will
