Service plan
As your water treatment consultant, C- WATER wants to become an integral part of your organization. In order
to have a successful water/process treatment program, it is necessary to set agreed-upon requirements and to
make sure that these requirements are strictly adhered to.
The most important element in meeting the requirements of monitoring and control is the system operator.
Our ability to work with your operators and train them to respond to changingsystem conditions and evaluate
parameters will be a major factor in the success of the process.
We address operator-training issues during service visits and by training seminars scheduled. Our goal is to
maintain a quality water treatment process and to keep that process in complete statistical control.
Thorough equipment inspection is important in determining the effectiveness of a water treatment process as
well as helping to uncover potential operational problems for a given system. It would be our intention to be
present during inspections of your condenser and chiller during plant outages and take pictures as possible to
document inspection results before & after starting treatment and give recommendations in form of a technical
report.

Method Of Statement
a) Checking the strainers in all circulation pumps and preparing smaller mesh size wire in
the strainers so as to start by removing large particles, then gradually remove smaller
particles.
b) A suitable number of staff must be available for changing the strainer (also suitable tools,
accessories must be available). Normally, all pumps must be in manual operation when
undergoing strainer changing of mesh size and cleaningplus checking the availability of
strainer gaskets.
e) Recording the pressure gauge reading in the network in each section showing the
pressure in the discharge side of the main circulation pumps.
f) Checking the available thermometers and get the actual temperature reading in the
points.
Note: the above-mentioned steps shall be applied after the hydraulic pressuretest for
all the system.
It is recommended to perform balance make-up and drain to minimize the load on cleaning
step by allowing the loose particles to be removed, saving the cleaner for the hard
particles.
The ideal point of drain is on the return line just before the point of the make-up to
guarantee including the maximum circuit surface in the cleaning also it is useful todrain
from the lowest point in each building or in each riser. This Pre-flushing must run
continuously achieving clear water from all draining point.
A.3. Cleaning
The cleaner and pre-commission cleaner C-110 (2 kg per cubic meter) will react and
dislodge the corrosion products, mill scale, cutting oil, pipe thread compound and other
construction debris on the metal surface, which can be easily flushed outof system during
its chemical interaction products.
A.4. Flushing
In this step, the system must be flushed with any or both flushing mechanisms. Blowdown
the system or balance bleed and make-up i.e. water is drained from more thanone point i.e.
the lowest points in the network and the last point in the return line justbefore the make-up
points, until getting clear .

Product Dose (ppm)
Criteria (Kg/Yr.)
Nitrite-based anodic/cathodic corrosion inhibitor designed for use in closed chilled systems. Its
beneficial features are:
ü It gives both effective corrosion and scale control.
ü It is designed to be used in alkaline pH water environments, which buffers against pHupsets,
when used with specific stabilizing polymer.
ü It can be used over a wide variety of water hardness conditions, also in an alkaline
environment.
ü It is excellent for systems with long holding times and high-water temperatures.
It is acceptable in most cases from the pollution point of view
C-101 is a nitrite based corrosion inhibitor containing an additional organic inhibitor to protect steel, copper
and other non-ferrous metals. As such C-101 is an ideal treatment for closed chilled water and low pressure
heating systems.
C-‐101 contains a pH indicator to help with control of the dosage.
Dosing
C-101 should be dosed at 3 - 5 kg/m3 in order to give an active reserve of 1200 ppm of sodium nitrite.

Vomiting Obtain medical attention.
Storage
Keep container tightly closed and in a cool place.
Keep away from combustible material.
Keep away from cyanides and readily oxidisable materials.
Handling
Avoid contact with skin or eyes.
Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye protection.
Spillage
Flush spillage with plenty of water and wash to waste.
Disposal
Wash out empty container thoroughly with water before disposal.
C-110
Chemical Cleaning Agent
PRODUCT DATA
Description
C-110 is a non-acid blend of sequestering and dispersing agents for the removal of iron oxide,
other metallic oxides and scale deposits from open and closed systems.
It may also be used continuously at low levels to prevent deposits forming.
C-110 is a safe, non-toxic alternative to ammoniated citric acid for pre-commission cleaning and
poses minimal effluent disposal problems.
Use
For pre-commission cleaning a concentration of 0.2-2% by volume should be used and circulated
For a minimum of 2 days and a maximum of 7 days.
For restoration cleaning a concentration between 2.5-5% is normally required, dependent on the
degree of fouling. The length of time required to affect a clean will again depend on the degree
of fouling and the progress of chemical reactions can be monitored by simple on-site test methods
or by postal samples to the C-Water Laboratory.
Warning
Whilst not aggressive to the parent metal C-110 is a powerful penetrant and will find any
weakness in pipe work or joints which is simply sealed by a layer of corrosion products. It is
recommended therefore that in the restoration of old systems that an initial concentration of 1%
only be added and circulated for 2 days to ensure system is sound before proceeding further.
When cleaning system containing Aluminum in conjunction with Copper a supplementary
treatment C-110 should also be added at the rate of 4-6 liter/cubic meter of system capacity.

Protec-10
PRODUCT DATA
Treatment for Corrosion Control of Drinking Water Lines
Protec-10 is a clear, odorless and tasteless corrosion inhibitor for the protection of drinking water and
domestic water systems which is quite harmless at normal use levels. It is effective in controlling corrosion
in pipe lines and storage tanks, particularly where supply water is either softened or naturally low in
alkalinity, resulting in ‘Red Water’ and general corrosion, which can be particularly troublesome in
Hospitals and Hotels.
Specifications
Dosing
Protec-10 will not effect the appearance or taste of water in any way. It is approved by the UK Drinking
Water Inspectorate for treatment of potable water.
Application
Protec-10 treatment should be continuously dosed to maintain a silica level of 8-10 ppm above the raw
water silica content. For automatic proportional dosing the use of a packaged water meter controlled dosing
set is advised.

Pot feeder
A- Pot feeder
The Shot feeder consists of a pressure- rated chemical tank installed across a pressure
differential, which can be from the discharge side to the suction side of apump.
Operation
The tank is charged with chemicals, and the valves arranged to allow water flow fromthe
high to low pressure side.
The flow of water through the chemical tank sweeps it clean, thereby injection the
chemicals.
Installation
The feeder should be installed in an accessible position close to the main feed line tokeep
connecting pipe work to a minimum.
The unit must be securely fixed to a wall or be floor mounted it must be supported
from the connecting pipe work, in all cases a suitable drainage point must be provided.
ü Inexpensive
ü Easy to install
ü Simple to operate
ü Minimum maintenance.

The chemicals will be dosed via chemical injection set to the system to allow the pH
in the recommended control limits 9+ and the chemical residual in the limit 1000 –
1200 to avoid system corrosion.
This system ensures the control of the associated chemical dosing pump and
determines dosing rate in direct proportion to water make up.
