Some considerations: ● You will create TWO, independent presentations, one for each of your selected Ecuadorian Protected Areas. ● Each presentation will be assessed independently but the points will be combined to generate one single Q1 project grade for Idukay ● Other grades may be collected which may be included in Q2 P1 Idukay: ○ Scale of maps (math) ○ Using the Mozilla Hubs platform (Science & Compu) ○ Use of English language (English) ○ Use of Wakelet (Science) ● The presentations will need to be in a format which can be ‘posted’ to a wall in the 3-D Mozilla Hubs Presentation rooms. This means pdf or Canva or a similar platform. ● You may add video or other links to the presentations but the visual presentation which goes on the wall is the most important. ● Carefully review the assessment criteria in the rubric for the project before submitting it. ● The presentations should be submitted together by: ○ 9A: 10:45am Friday February 28th ○ 9B: 10:45am Thursday February 27th ● Any form of academic dishonesty will be recorded and reported, and will have the consequences which are established in LOEI. ● You may seek help or advice from your teacher or other students or people but in every respect the project must be entirely your own work. II. METACOGNITIVE REFLECTION QUIMESTER 1 Reflect on your learning during the past Quimester and complete an auto-evaluation for each of the 5 indicators.

In Science, I am proactive about asking for help from the teacher to help resolve difficulties in class 1 or at home or in work assignments, and in correcting errors or misunderstandings. In Science I pay attention in class, I participate and 2 complete the activities on time. I put into practice the skills specific to Science 3 which I have learned in this class. I participate actively in group work and contribute to 4 my learning and advancement in class. I have benefitted from the broader learning and academic skills, which I have been introduced to in this class, such as the use of digital platforms like 5 Wakelet and Google Slides and Canva, and the Scientific Method, and the use of laboratory apparatus like microscopes.
