Skill 25 : Adjectives after linking verbs

Biasanya verbs akan diikuti oleh adverb, tetapi hati – hati terhadap linking verb. Linking verb
diikuti oleh adjective.

Linking verb adalah verb (kata kerja) yang menghubungkan subject (subjek kalimat) dengan informasi

atau deskripsinya yang disebut subject complement.

Example :

She looks nice

Nb: looks adalah linking verb.

S + regular verb + adverb

S + linking verb + adjective.
