How to Create a Curriculum Map

There are two basic kinds of curriculum maps that we can

use. There is the Elaborate Version and the Topic Version.
However, for our purpose, we should just use the topic
version.

 Generally, the topic type curriculum map is simply an

overall chart that shows every single lesson you are
teaching to your students in an ordered manner starting
from left to right and going top to bottom. 

Our school year will be divided in the four quarters

arranged in columns left to right. With that the first quarter
will be the left most and the fourth quarter will be the right
most. Each column is one quarter. 

Each quarter will begin with the first lesson you will teach
and organized under units and topics much like a simple
outline.

I have several samples below as well as a pre-populated

template and a blank template which you can use for your
curriculum maps.
I would need everyone to do this and submit this per
subject. This is one of our PEAC requirements for the
school.

To get started, I would like you to simply check your

modules. For each subject, simply copy and paste your
topics to teach for the year and paste these onto the
curriculum map template we have provided on this page.

Save your copy on a separate word document and submit

these to my email, (avcsvfc21@gmail.com). Each
curriculum map can contain several pages which is fine
and understandable since one quarter may have a lot of
topics to exceed one page.

You need to submit only once because this will contain all
your topics for the entire year unlike the lesson plans
which need to be submitted per week.
