advancements are
commonplace. Cell phones

viewpoint. One example is
Tiktok. There's a lot of false
information on that social
media site, and it's used by
the majority of today's
youth. Technology has the
ability to alter someone's
behavior.
Yes These days, finding a true
friend is quite difficult. You
may make friends by using
the social networking
platform. However, many of
them, in my opinion, are
utilizing social media to
communicate with their
friends about the situation.
It's also tough to become an
internet friend because
there's no way to get to
know them in person.
Reflection Paper
Based on what you have learned from the lesson, write a reflection paper on how
the evolution of media shaped the values and norms of people and the society. You
can also read news articles or surf the internet to know more about the effects of
media and information to the values and norms of the Filipinos.

My Reflection

As technology advances, so does society. The media has an impact on how individuals think,
which leads to changes in behavior. Newspapers, radio, television, social media, new media, and
so on are all available. They used to get information through the newspaper, radio, and
television. However, thanks to new media, we may now obtain such knowledge in a matter of
seconds. On a smart phone, you can even listen to radio or watch television. Today's technology
works in this manner.

On the internet, there is a lot of false information. It has an impact on a person's way of thinking
about something. As a social media-obsessed youngster, I've seen a lot of people make remarks
without even having a good source. They will immediately believe anything if they see a video
of it or if they read someone's statement.

Furthermore, a child's frequent usage of social media is unhealthy. As I previously stated, there
are several videos, pictures, and even claims floating on the internet. It will have a significant
influence on them. They may adjust their behavior to that of someone they are watching. I've
been watching my cousins for a while now, and I've seen that some of them are becoming pretty
used to the behavior of someone on the internet. Don't easily believe it if you see something on
the internet.
