Function
The tap position interface REG-F 'D2' passes the signal from
the dry contact row of a tap changer transformer on to the
voltage regulator system REGSys with BCD-Code.
At the same time the signal is readable on relais contacts.
The tap position is shown on the integrated display. REG-F 'D2 B3' 144 x 72

For longer distances between the transducer and the REG-F 'D2', the maximum cable length will depend on the interference by
parallel cables rather than on the maximum output voltage of the transducer.
A permissible ripple voltage of up to 2V on the input of REG-F 'D2' is allowed. As there are different ground and voltage conditions
in every application, longer cables are in general possible, however, shielding and wider distances between the parallel cables must
be provided.
