Government Organization
Department of Environment and Natural Resources
- The Department of Environment and Natural Resources is the executive
department of the Philippine government responsible for governing and
supervising the exploration, development, utilization, and conservation of the
country's natural resources.
Department of Budget and Management
- The Department of Budget and Management is an executive body under the
Office of the President of the Philippines. It is responsible for the sound and
efficient use of government resources for national development and also as an
instrument for the meeting of national socio-economic and political development
goals.
Department of Agriculture
- The Department of Agriculture, is the executive department of the Philippine
government responsible for the promotion of agricultural and fisheries
development and growth.

Department of Transportation
- The Department of Transportation is the executive department of the Philippine
government responsible for the maintenance and expansion of viable, efficient,
and dependable transportation systems as effective instruments for national
recovery and economic progress.

Department of Energy
- The Department of Energy is the executive department of the Philippine
government responsible for preparing, integrating, manipulating, organizing,
coordinating, supervising and controlling all plans, programs, projects and
activities of the Government relative to energy exploration, development,
utilization, distribution and conservation.
Non-Government Organization
Philippine Red Cross
- The Philippine Red Cross has truly become the premier humanitarian
organization in the country, committed to provide quality life-saving services that
protect the life and dignity especially of indigent Filipinos in vulnerable situations.
Pro-Life Philippines
- It is a nationwide organization that functions as a national educational and
advocacy body coordinating pro-life groups, providing instructions and
documentations of life issues while seeking to raise the consciousness of
Filipinos concerning respect and responsibility for human life.
The Haribon Foundation
- The mission of Haribon Foundation is to be the leading nature conservation
membership organization dedicated to advancing participatory sustainable
solutions, its main vision is to celebrate people as stewards of nature.
Legal Rights and Natural Resources Center
- Legal Rights and Natural Resources Center works for the recognition and
protection of the rights of the indigenous people, especially the poor among them
who can hardly afford such. It is a non-stock, non-government, non-partisan,
non-profit, scientific, and research organization.
Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center
- The mission of SEAFDEC is to promote and facilitate concerted actions among
the member countries to ensure the sustainability of fisheries and aquaculture in
Southeast Asia, they are now among the top non-government organizations in
the Philippines.
Tambuyog Development Center
- The mission of Tambuyog Development Center is to lead in the facilitation of
mechanisms for the provision of services on the enhancement of community
property rights, the creation of community-based social enterprises, and effective
fishery resource governance, integrating sustainable development of the local
and international levels of the fishing industry.
Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism
- Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism also provides grants for projects
that expose human rights abuses, threats to press freedom and freedom of
speech, and misuse of public funds.
Social Weather Stations
- The mission of the Social Weather Stations is to create awareness and bring
solutions to multiple social concerns, create democratic values in the
government, and invest in social science and social persuasion.
Health Action Information Network
- The Health Action Information Network was initially made to serve the
information and research needs of community-based organizations but was
consequently used for helping the government that emerged from the instability
in policy reformations in the country. The Health Action Information Network
works to improve the health system in the marginalized and rural communities,
the organization also works by conducting seminars to teach the people about
health-related issues in the society and how to solve them.
Foundation for the Philippine Environment
- The vision of the Foundation for the Philippine Environment is to become a
growing, relevant, and dynamic organization for the preservation of biodiversity
and sustainable development for the actualization of healthy ecosystems and
solving the world’s environmental problems.
- The mission of the Foundation is to build constituencies and capacities for the
environment, promote responsive actions and policies for biodiversity
preservation and sustainable development. It remains among the top non-
government organizations in the Philippines.
